Madison Shipman always thrived under pressure. The younger sister of Shauna Shipman, she was a star player on the Yellowjackets, a straight-A student, and determined to make it into Harvard. Balancing soccer, academics, and the expectations placed on her, Maddie was used to pushing herself past her limits, until the plane crash that changed everything. Stranded in the wilderness with her teammates, Maddie is forced to confront a brutal new reality where survival demands sacrifices she never imagined. Her friendships with the girls take on new meaning in the face of hunger and fear, and her growing connection with Lottie becomes something deeper, something Maddie can't explain, even as it consumes her.
