When in only a few weeks time two people associated with the B.A.U are executed on national television and an intern gets kidnapped, the tension rises at the B.A.U. As Ariel Keegan's time is running out Reid and his team try to do everything they can to connect the dots and find out who the mysterious murderer is to bring the young intern home. But when the unsub himself threatens to take one of the members of the Behavioral Analysis team to keep Ariel Keegan company, panic hits the B.A.U. The team tries their best to figure out the inner workings of the mind of their unsub, but will they be able to perform under the pressure of having another one of their own taken from them?

(This is my first story. Hope you like it!) This is the love story about Spencer Reid and (Y/N) it shows how you fall in love while working through cases at the BAU. (This story's P.O.V switches between first person and third person and also has some content that may be inappropriate for younger audiences.)

Jayne is finding it hard to breathe on her own. Keeping it together with facts and a fake confidence and snarky exterior. She is alone. So is he. Spencer clouds his mind with useless knowledge. Anything to keep him from thinking on his own. His headaches have gotten worse and he's lost. Lost to words.

Spencer Reid has had an array of failed romantic endeavours in his lifetime. He is known as the 'Lone Genius' A depressing title that foretells his life of certain loneliness. Until he meets her. Doctor Ella Bloom, an Oxford psychology graduate starting work in the BAU. Spencer's persistent brain tells him to solve cases, but his heart is desperate to feel something again. Love.

Maybe it was just bad timing. Maybe it was a more downplayed version of Romeo and Juliet; bad fate. After all, he had lost his first love, Maeve, right before his eyes. How does one get over something like that? I had been in an abusive relationship two years prior. I never got over that.

When Michelle's parents were murdered, the BAU came over to protect her. But Spencer stayed with her even after the case. The BAU became Michelle's second family and she feels safe with Spencer. But will that last forever?

They run into the BAU team where her case intrigues a certain genius. They manage to drag Dr. Spencer Reid and the rest of the team into the dangerous and blood lusting world they continue to live in. Rachel feels safe, she finally feels free. However, her past still haunts her. Her father is still on a hunt for them both. She has to fight. If she stops, she loses everything. She falls in love with this awkward boy genius and she finds herself confused. She thinks she's finally safe. Maybe she can win, but then again.... daddy always gets what he wants.

(EDITED-2019) Rachel and Charlotte have finally escaped their father's grasp. They feel as though their fear is gone, they can be normal now. Something they've always dreamed to be. Rachel even starts to let her heart open up to that Boy Genius, Spencer Reid. However, things take a turn for the worst and she falls deeper into the hole she's buried in. The team begin to see changes in Reid, changes that no one has ever seen in him. Rachel knows something isn't right, what is it? Her father is dead, she thinks, what could be possibly do now? Her father may be gone...but that doesn't mean he can't pull some strings from the grave. (This is the second book of my story if you haven't read the first part, read that then this! You will understand it much better!)
