In a world where everything comes in threes, the third time has to be the charm. For the Pogues, it might be their last chance at bringing the treasure on home. Parker Kate Routledge has spent the past year believing her father is dead. So, when he shows up alive and well in Barbados, Parker is thrown for a loop. Adjusting to a familiar yet foreign reality, Parker is haunted by her past. So, when Big John proposes another treasure hunt, Parker throws herself into the chase, no matter what it might cost. JJ Maybank doesn't have much. He doesn't have a house. He doesn't have a job. But he does have Parker. More in love than he's ever been, JJ's content watching his girlfriend reconnect with her family. After all, the cross is still out there, and JJ is determined to take it back. But as the hunt grows more dangerous and JJ's actions more reckless, JJ realizes he can only channel his inner "03' Bonnie & Clyde" for so long. Something - or someone - has gotten it in Parker's head that JJ is better off without her. And if there is one thing JJ is certain: he is not better off without Parker. Two separate treasures lead them two separate ways, and by the time their paths collide, it may already be too late. Parker and JJ have to determine what they're willing to fight for, what they're willing to let someone take, and what true treasure really is.

Five rules. Six weeks. Seven teens all trapped together on an island. After a disastrous trip on the Coastal Venture, the Pogues find themselves marooned on an unknown island with no way to call home. At first, survival is simple. John B outlines five rules to keep them alive. They carve weapons, find fresh water, and hunt for food. The Pogues are ready for whatever the island may throw at them. Except the island isn't the problem. They are. When there is nothing to do and nowhere to go, the spiral starts, and it doesn't stop. JJ gets high off a mushroom he definitely shouldn't have eaten. Parker Kate and Cleo form a friendship over increasingly dangerous booby traps. And Pope's convinced he's Caesar Flickerman. What started as a way to keep their heads above water slowly morphs into uncontrolled chaos until one day, the Pogues are too distracted to notice their ticket home. The fun and games are over. The Pogues have to make a choice: find a way to live on this island without destroying everything in their path or never make it back home.

After everything-the gold, the cross, the running, the drugs-the Pogues end up on a deserted island in the middle of nowhere. Poguelandia isn't just a hiding place; it's a fresh start. No Kooks. No treasure hunts. No one chasing them down or tearing them apart. Just sun soaked days, salt air, and the kind of freedom they've spent their whole lives fighting for. With a new member, Cleo Anderson, their found family feels stronger than ever. Out there, it's just them attempting to figure out how to live when survival isn't the only thing driving them. But peace like this doesn't last forever. Because even in paradise, the past has a way of catching up-and the moment they're found, everything they've built on that island is at risk of slipping through their fingers. They may not have the gold. They may not have the cross. But they have each other. And for the Pogues... that's always been worth more than any treasure. The Outer Banks is a place where storms never stay on the horizon for long. Maisen Jade Lewis has always felt them coming, whether it is weather patterns, secrets, the way danger hangs in the air before it finally crashes down. She grew up on the edge of the island's wealth, full born Kook as they say, caught between the gold-plated world of her father's estate and the saltwater freedom of the Pogues. For years, she's managed to ride both currents, until now. When Big John's tape resurfaces, the hunt for the Merchant gold isn't the only thing dragging the Pogues deeper into uncharted waters. Big John left a message not just for his son but for Maisen too. A cryptic warning about her father, Alexander Lewis, and truths that could tear open everything she thought she knew about him... and herself. Maisen isn't the type to let anyone fight her battles for her. Not even JJ Maybank, the reckless, sharp-tongued Pogue who somehow keeps finding his way past her defenses. Together, their story unfolds in the riptide-pulled between loyalty and lies, love and survival, treasure and betrayal. The deeper they dive, the more dangerous the water becomes. Because storms don't just break on the Outer Banks-they uncover everything buried beneath. #1 in P4L 11/7/25 #1 in katiedouglas 12/27/25 Book One of the Riptide Series-Season One of Outer Banks.

Sophie Hayes was engraved into the land of Outer Banks. A town that only seemed to haunt her alongside that five letter last name. That name that held more secrets than its own legacy should have. A name written in blood and greed. And Sophie never fit into just one world- not really. Because by blood, she was both a Kook and a Pogue. And everyone knew that if you lived in the Outer Banks, you were for one side or the other. Not both. Even if that meant someone forced your hand in choosing your side. But when there was someone who walked the other side that you use to know, it makes things a little more complicated than it should have been. And that complication always seemed to be JJ Maybank, himself.
