"Some connections don't ask to be understood. They simply arrive... right on time." For Paul (Pablo Nase), Wednesdays are usually just another quiet shift at Eighteen's Coffeehouse, until one rainy morning a man in corporate attire walks in and orders his coffee iced. It's strange, but Paul doesn't question it. Some things, after all, don't need explanations. From then on, Sky (Stell Ajero) appears every Wednesday without fail. Morning, lunchtime, or just before closing, his timing always changes, but never the day. Somewhere between steaming cups and polite smiles, Wednesday becomes Paul's favorite day, and Sky becomes the reason he counts the hours. Paul doesn't know when curiosity turns into longing, or why a few exchanged pleasantries start to feel like something more. He only knows that every smile leaves him breathless. Until one particular Wednesday afternoon threatens to turn routine into something unforgettable...

Ken Dumpit is a self-proclaimed heartthrob and a certified playboy. He's charming, overconfident, at para bang laging may bagong future wife kada linggo. They're total opposites; bittersweet and warm, rough and soft, cookies and cream and there's something about Paulo na lagi niyang binabalik-balikan. For the first time, Ken might just be down bad... tapos sa isa pang lalaki. Ang masaklap lang doon, mukhang hindi pa siya type nito.

"She carries emotional baggage. He carries unmatched audacity." Lloyd Ramona Felecio, a beautiful disaster wrapped in pink blouses and unhealed wounds just wanted caffeine and silence. She spent most of her life running from the ruins of her parents' failed marriage, from the ghosts she swore she buried, and from the terrifying possibility that she might actually deserve something good. Until fate, because it's a little shitty sometimes, gave her Zyran Anthony instead of an isolated oasis. He was an annoying and softhearted menace who have loved her and keeps on loving her silently from the sidelines. Every time he shows up, it irks her guts. He only triggers her dark sirens to resurface just to sing her a lure song toward the darkness. She's not so sure if she wants to strangle him or shove him off a cliff just to buy herself a minute of peace... but maybe it depends on the coffee counts. However, there are some nights were she thought, what if running away wasn't survival but just all her constant fears? And what if choosing him, or rather herself, is the bravest thing she will ever do? That, she wouldn't know, unless she'll stop blaming the world and do something about it. #8lettersNovellaWritingMonth #WriMo8L #8LNovellaChallenge

"Home isn't just a place, it's the quiet clink of mugs hitting the counter, the scent of brew that fills every room, and the two people who make it all feel like theirs." Paulo and Justin didn't build their life on grand gestures or perfect plans. They built it one step at a time, small moments most people would tend to overlook. There are arguments over sugar and stirrers, messes from mischievous pets, and days when even coffee feels too strong to face, but they eventually comprises in the end, finding magic in the mundane and home in every cup they share.
