Meanwhile, the pale cities only school is in danger of closing, due to a woman named Geisha threatening to buy the school and bulldoze the grounds, wanting to take the land and build a boat rental building for her own personal gain. Josephine, one of the teachers there, is struggling to prevent this from happening. So, her and Hunter decide to work together to keep Mono in Hunter's custody and help the school fight back against Geisha.
