Let me put it like this. I was perfectly okay with letting my friends take the stage. I didn't have a problem with being in stage crew, working the lights, helping other students rehearse their lines and songs. I didn't want to be center-stage, all eyes on me, all attention on me. I was quite fond of being behind the curtain. That was until the snobby, egotistical, no doubt handsome, male lead pushed me into the spotlight.

August 24th is the most important day of Maria, Daisy and Olivia's lives as it is the day all their dreams come true. After years of imagining what it might be like, the three girls finally move into their New York apartment ready for their first day at NYCPA - The New York College of Performing Arts. However, life in the big city is harder than they think. Broadway fanatic Maria is determined to make it in musical theatre but she finds herself surrounded by tough competition in the form of pushy girls, false friends and very attractive boys. Actress and all-round drama queen Daisy enters the city armed with her ambition and her sarcasm and is ready to tear apart anyone who tries to mess with her or her friends. However, things become difficult as she tries to maintain a relationship with her boyfriend back home while also meeting new people all around her - people who are not all that they seem. Olivia - dancer, feminist and 'mom' of the group - is excited to be finally fulfilling her dream but things don't go to plan when she gets stuck with an awful teacher, partnered with a total jerk and patronised by a city-boy who just won't leave her alone. Amongst all this, they still have to pay the rent and try to get through their first year unscathed but it's going to be a lot harder than they thought.

New original musicals are always a chance for established thespians to add to their fanbase... and for newbies to make a name for themselves. And a handful of newbies might just leave a permanent mark on the world of theatre. Rated PG-13 only because I'm worried about the mild and infrequent swear that should definitely be fine for a thirteen year old, but may not be depending on your own preference. But otherwise kid-friendly.

A series of events unfolds with Erik trying to get Christine to fall in love with him and Christine trying to escape, but each attempt proves to be futile. Christine knows she has to make Erik see that he can't control her and that she doesn't belong to him. But, the more she tries to attain her goal, the more she gets to know the workings of his mind. So, who will win? The kidnapper or the victim? Or, perhaps it is out of their control. Perhaps the victor is 'fate'.

Especially Erik. He looks everywhere, then decides to take a risk and search deeper in the country of America. Will he ever find her? Gustave has mixed feelings. Meg Giry just witnessed her mother's death. Phillip stays by her side, but she now wonders if he'll leave her when he repeatedly forgets her when he does "family matters." Can the one man that made Meg feel as if she's loved shatter her heart? And, let's not forget, everyone's favorite mad scientist is on the loose. And he's angrier than ever. Madness is everywhere. This is a fan fiction based on the story of The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies. I do not, under any circumstance, own Erik, Gustave, Meg, Madame Giry, or Raoul. I wish I did though... It's 2 years after young opera sensation Christine Daae was shot and killed, and she left giant scars in her passing. Her ex-lover Erik Destler is devastated, but when he meets Phantasma's newest star, a mysterious beauty named Ariadne, can he find hope? Or will he rely on a criminal to fix his broken heart? As for Gustave, being a 12 year old with no mother sucks. No one understands the pain, and he feels alone. When Gustave enters the first few stages of depression, he begins to view the world in ways children his age shouldn't. When his only happiness is through music, can he be saved? Meg Giry killed her best friend. That's not exactly something you can let go. Alas, Meg claims that she is healed, but through receiving the love, pleasure, and attention of others. Yet, will she learn to let down her high walls, and let others in? Innocent people, victims of an accident. Will they find happiness, or will they forever feel incomplete?
