The Force often works in strange ways. That was never truer when Darth Vader, not Anakin Skywalker, found himself on Naboo during the Trade Federation occupation. How is the Republic to react to a Sith Lord that has committed no crime and is aiding Queen Amidala? And did I mention Vader wasn't the only one brought along the ride? No, it's not Luke or Leia.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, the Clone Wars raged, tearing the galaxy in two. The Grand Army of the Republic led by their Jedi Generals fought the Separatist Alliance and their droid army. Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Leonidas are engaging Count Dooku over Dantooine when a rift in space transports them into the unknown region. Space. The final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. It's continuing mission... to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no one has gone before. Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise are disembarking from diplomatic talks between two rival factions on the planet Xyrillia. Just as they enter the Delta quadrant, a strange, dagger shaped ship enters the quadrant. I do not own Star Wars or Star Trek.

En route to an urgent humanitarian mission, the U.S.S. Enterprise D stumbles upon a strange sight; a blue, wooden box stranded in the middle of Federation territory, motionless and without power. Its occupant, a strange, seemingly British chap stranded in a universe that is not its own. The challenge to the Enterprise's crew seems straightforward enough; learn if this strange occupant is really who and what he claims to be. As Darth Vader becomes tired of his current life, he uses an ancient Sith relic in an attempt to create another reality where everything is perfect. When Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano are sent to investigate Vader's disappearance, their worlds and beliefs are upended, but dealing with a depressed and suicidal Sith Lord is far from easy. After leaving Vader a second time, Obi-Wan is given, and takes, the chance to travel to the past to fix his mistakes. He hopes it will be easy. It's not. As the galaxy around him spirals out of control a second time, Obi-Wan captures a newly Fallen Darth Vader and runs away with him. Even if he can't save Anakin, at least he can stop Vader from terrorizing the galaxy again.

Visited by a future version of his Padawan and arrested by the Time Variance Authority for "breaking" the timeline when he killed Grievous, Anakin Skywalker finds himself thrown into an entirely new world. After a failed coup against the Emperor in the wake of his discovery of his long-lost son, Darth Vader flees from the Empire, crashing on a small, mostly uninhabited planet where he's found and captured by the Rebel Alliance. Instead of killing Vader, the Rebels opt to imprison him to obtain valuable information. Predictably, nothing goes as planned.

Darth Vader discovers his 3 month year old son on Tatooine then raises him. Luke was his light, his only weakness. Everything was going well for him but of course, the galaxy had other ideas. This story is based on the YouTube video by The Stupendous Wave, detailing what might've happened if Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader had survived the second Death Star (I also added a few extra scenes). The storyline belongs to The Stupendous Wave (except the extra scenes I added), and some of the wording from the original video is also repeated in this "what-if" story. However, I will admit that along the way, much of this short story was morphed into basically Anakin cuddling his children (which was something that I personally wanted to see happen). I know this strays from the original plot line, and I'm sincerely sorry, but I simply couldn't fight the urge to add these extra, "fluffier" scenes. (Again, I'm sorry if you'd rather have read a version that stuck solely to the original Youtube video.) All characters are the property of Disney and Lucasfilm, no copyright infringement intended. -Yes, I know I'm just a beginner at writing, but I really wanted to write this to give Anakin a happier ending, so hopefully The Stupendous Wave doesn't mind me doing this.
