Kion and Rani are living happily together as rulers of the mystical Tree of Life. However, tragedy strikes when a new lion arrives at the tree and is welcomed in with utmost hospitality. The lion spreads fake rumors of Kion's actions that include murder, injuries, intimidation, threatening, etc. He is betrayed by all of his friends. As if it couldn't get any worse, he soon finds Rani cheating on him with the lion. Filled with heartbreak and anger, he leaves the tree and is soon found by a mysterious lion who welcomes him into his pride. The lion is no ordinary lion. Kion is made the leader of an ethereal pride that possesses magical powers. He lives happily there and even meets an old friend there.
