A slasher inspired story with the Sonic the Hedgehog characters.

When Sonic is assigned to join Shadow's team on a classified mission, things quickly start to spiral out of control. What should've been a simple operation turns strange as familiar sights and forgotten words begin to surface-things no one should recognize. Sonic tries to shake off the feeling, but something deep inside him knows this isn't the first time he's seen any of it. And then Shadow begins to change. He starts having flashes-visions of another life, another world, and a name that means nothing to him... yet feels like it should. Lancelot. As tension builds and reality starts to bend, both heroes are forced to face a truth buried beneath time itself. Some memories don't fade-they wait for the right moment to return.

Sonic and Shadow have been dating for almost 7 months now and their relationship was a lot easier to hide when they were less intimate. Now they're more comfortable going on dates and spending time together, but how can they do that when there is eyes always watching the Hero of Mobius and the Ultimate Lifeform? SONIC 3 SPOILERS "What's going on?" Maria asked. "I don't know," Shadow replied, getting off the bed and walking to the door. After hesitating, Shadow opened the door and followed the sounds down the hallway to the main entrance. There were bolts of blue lighting dancing across the room, and guards went down left and right by something too fast for anyone to see. The guards fired into the room, panicked, but the blue blur of lighting was relentless and soon no one was left standing. Shadow stood at the edge of the room, eyes and mouth agape as the blue blur finally stood still, standing over the unconscious guards. It was a hedgehog! It looked like- "Shadow," Maria breathed out, appearing beside Shadow. "He looks just like you."
