After hesitating, Shadow opened the door and followed the sounds down the hallway to the main entrance. There were bolts of blue lighting dancing across the room, and guards went down left and right by something too fast for anyone to see. The guards fired into the room, panicked, but the blue blur of lighting was relentless and soon no one was left standing. Shadow stood at the edge of the room, eyes and mouth agape as the blue blur finally stood still, standing over the unconscious guards. It was a hedgehog! It looked like- "Shadow," Maria breathed out, appearing beside Shadow. "He looks just like you."

From my most popular one shot series, We All Have Problems has been deemed worthy enough to have a full novel adaptation! Shadow suffers from severe PTSD, and a whole cast of other mental illnesses that make him violent and dangerous, and causes him to disassociate completely. If that weren't enough, he refuses to speak to anyone after GUN admitted him to a mental health facility to "correct" his violent and uncontrollable behaviors. Sonic, a well liked psychiatrist, becomes his doctor. He works with Shadow to help him open up, to learn that he's more than someone broken. And to help him heal. But as Sonic uncovers secrets to Shadow's past, it seems like he'll have to do more than therapy to help him.
