This story is set at the end of Season 15, so it has been almost three years since Olivia has had any form of contact with Elliot. No phone calls, voicemails, letters, text messages, nothing. Brian is not romantically involved with Olivia in this fan fiction, but is more of a friend and someone she can come to for advice. Elliot has been living on the other side of town in Queens still, and works as a county judge. Him and Kathy have been divorced since he left SVU and left their relationship on civil terms.
