The bedroom door was wide open. "So. It is you." It was barely 6:30pm, the room was dimly lit, and Cate was wearing a lavender nightdress, reclined on an upholstered chaise longue. A cigarette lay fresh in the ashtray on her nightstand, a flimsy wisp of smoke rising from the end. The image floored me. It evoked my early childhood memories of watching the first ever indie movies starring Gena Rowlands in the 70s, the rebellious and gritty spirit of them, and the reasons why I fell in love with cinema as a preteen. ----- An aspiring young film executive encounters Cate Blanchett at a prestigious screening. Financial interests prevent their relationship from becoming anything more than strictly professional. A 'sub' request changes everything. Cate Blanchett x OC. Contains a little smut, maybe fluff, and definitely Hollywood glamor.

Cate Blanchett is the new art teacher and a senior student has caught her eye: Elizabeth Aird. She 18 and her student but they can't help their bond. This book is based on the movie "Notes on a Scandal" starring Cate Blanchett. I've made a few changes because of the students age being 15. I don't feel comfortable writing them so young and having intimacy with an older woman, especially the woman being Cate. ⚠️ Warnings ⚠️ : This story contains smoking, underage drinking, big age gap, and homophobic slurs. In a twist of fate, Lady Tremaine, the formidable and often villainous stepmother from the classic tale of Cinderella, finds herself unexpectedly drawn to one of her servants. Despite her reputation for cruelty and manipulation, Lady Tremaine's heart begins to soften as she gets to know the kind and compassionate individual who serves her household. At first, Lady Tremaine resists the stirrings of affection, dismissing them as foolishness and a betrayal of her carefully cultivated facade of power and control. However, as she spends more time in the presence of the servant, she begins to see them in a new light, recognizing their intelligence, integrity, and inner strength. As their interactions deepen, Lady Tremaine finds herself opening up in ways she never thought possible, sharing her hopes, fears, and vulnerabilities with the servant. In turn, the servant offers unwavering support and understanding, helping Lady Tremaine to confront the demons of her past and embrace the possibility of love and redemption.
