Eclipse Lane is a 14 year old girl living in an orphanage with a father who doesn't write back. She doesn't know what or who her mother was just that she was 'special'. Unfortunately, one fateful day an unfriendly visitor enters the orphanage. Eclipse finds out the hard way that her mother's 'speciality' is something Eclipse has too and many..many people want that power to themselves including a dangerous foe.
