After the waves, nothing really goes quiet. It was depth.
What Ling and Orm step into next doesn't feel like a fresh start. It feels like continuation of feelings already formed, of habits already built, of love that no longer needs proving but still needs care.
The Waves We Give was about movement.
This book is about what remains beneath it.
Their days are filled with work again. As they prepare to enter their second series, Only You, lines are memorized, characters discussed, expectations quietly stacked on their shoulders. Somewhere in those conversations, 3rd series begins to appear. A third one. Still early, undefined, but already there, floating between LingOrm team sentences.
Things around them get busier. With wider exposure comes a different kind of pressure. The audience grows. More people watch them now. Not just fans, but teams, brands, collaborators. Love becomes easier to notice and harder to explain away. Not because they are careless, but because what they share has grown more natural, rooted, visible in the way they move together. They learn when to speak, when to joke, when to let things pass without correcting them.
Everything intentional.
There's no sense of one being stronger or wiser than the other. They meet each other in the middle supporting, teasing, grounding. When one feels unsure, the other steadies. When things feel heavy, they lighten it together. No competition or hierarchy. Just hands reaching for each other when needed.
Their relationship grows into something solid. Something harder to disguise, but easier to live in. The question is no longer whether people will notice.
It's how much of this they're ready to let be seen, without losing the quiet place they've built for themselves.
The story not focusing on grand moments or big announcements. But will lay out what stays, even when no one watching and what stays will be tested.
