Their animosity against each other runs so deep that they've even gone on to conquer and control other packs. As Alpha Cyrus from Blood Moon and Alpha Jax from Grave Shadow follow in the footsteps of their rival predecessors, their pride and power are put to a halt when the goddess of the moon and werewolves, Luna herself, suddenly appears to cut their shit short. Turns out she's real... Real fucking pissed, that is. She wants to put an end to the ongoing feuds between Cyrus and Jax. Naturally, she starts by punishing them with a hex. Bound by the literal magic of friendship, the two alphas and their packs must now learn how to tolerate each other better, all for the sake of her newfound verdict. Will Cyrus and Jax be able to defy the will of the moon goddess herself? Or will they finally stop being bad and realize that there's more to life than world domination? ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Cover by @VNSANJI

Open Novella Contest 2025! This is my interpretation of prompt 50. A supervillain has a midlife crisis and decides to become a superhero. But redemption might be harder than they imagined. ___________________________________________________________________ Cassius Vale has spent his life in the shadows, a man forged by necessity-no questions asked, no hesitation. A fixer, a ghost, a necessary evil in a city that thrives on corruption and despair. He's become an instrument of violence, a blade wielded by unseen hands, but when a job leaves an innocent girl staring at him with pure terror in her eyes, something deep within him stirs. For the first time, he questions whether he can be anything more than a weapon for hire. Can the blood on his hands ever be washed away, or is he forever stained by the choices he's made? As crime tightens its vice grip on the city and a new wave of chaos surges, Cassius stands at a crossroads: remain the villain in this twisted narrative or fight for something greater than himself. But redemption comes with a heavy toll, and the path to heroism is littered with foes who won't let him slip away so easily. In a world where justice is nothing more than a fading memory and second chances are rare as gold, can a man molded by violence ever transform into a hero? Or will the darkness that has shaped his existence finally consume him, dragging him back into the abyss from which he emerged?

!!THIS BOOK HAS BEEN FINISHED, BUT IT'S CURRENTLY BEING REWRITTEN. UNEDITED CHAPTERS HAVE BEEN UNPUBLISHED!! REWRITE STATUS: 10/63 In the cursed city of Xalathor, two monster hunters just want to survive their job. And each other. William talks too much, jokes too often, and never takes anything seriously. Drystan barely talks at all. Their uneasy partnership survives because neither of them asks for more than the job requires - and feelings were never part of the deal. Then a messy and loud teenage girl barges in. Dahlia's not just here to end a curse; she wants something more. A family. A place to belong. And she's not leaving without it - even if the monster hunters she's set her sights on are experts at pushing people away. Between the emotional wildfire named Dahlia and their own unresolved tension, William and Drystan are in deeper than they ever planned. Thrown together by bad luck and worse timing, they stumble into something messier and way more terrifying than monsters - feelings. Dahlia won't let them run from it. In a city full of ghosts, the three of them are building something new. If they don't ruin it first. Materials used for the cover: https://www.vecteezy.com/free-png/dahlia-flower

When Alistair Melek gave his life to the sea, a various degree of things changed. For starters, his love for bloodshed was exemplified. Bolder. He was drawn to the clash of a sword, blood spiling below to floorboards, like a moth drawn to a flame. And this love was damned to spread through his crew as some treacherous disease, claiming any and all who joined. But he knew this was the price he'd pay. The price for the sea itself. So when his crew completes another standard loot and pillage from a merchant ship, he allows his men a bit of fun. He liked to give them an audience, rounding up those who didn't fall victim to the blade during battle, and forcing them to beg for their lives. To prove how much they really wanted to live. Alistair had ruled the sea for some years now. Killed thousands, maybe tens of thousands. Destroyed hundreds, maybe thousands of vessels. And yet, each feeble human was all the same. There was not one man he threatened that didn't beg for their lives with all they had in them when faced with the wrong end of the sword. Each feeble human was always the same. Or so he thought. And yet, he also thought that this would be one standard job. A treat for his men after a night of good work. But this particular survivor, the one with long white hair and dead looking eyes... He wasn't a merchant. He couldn't have been. More important, there was no hesitancy when Alistair asked the fairly built man whether he wanted to live, and the man replied with a simple no.

All he wanted was to disappear. What he found wouldn't let him go. Humanity clings to survival in fortified cities, learning to live beside the horrors that slipped in from another plane. Monsters now walk freely among the ruins of the old civilisation. For a runaway boy scraping by on the streets, danger is nothing new. Hunted by violent men and ignored by a society too busy surviving, he's learned to trust no one. But when he crosses paths with a strange, otherworldly being - one unlike any he's seen before - his life takes a turn for the surreal. The creature is powerful, unpredictable, and completely alien in thought. It breaks boundaries as easily as bodies, and the boy wants nothing more than to be rid of it. But fate - or an unbreakable, incomprehensible will - keeps pulling them together. As tension builds and an uneasy bond begins to form, a far greater danger looms. And it's not from the monsters outside the walls.
