After the continuous banter that I had with myself, I admit. I fancy my best friend, Albus Potter. You see, I'd tell him, but I can't. I have a lot of reasons why I refuse to like him. But then there's just that one big reason why I can't like him. That one big problem I have will probably affect practically everyone when they hear about it. I can't tell Al, or anyone for that matter. A matter of life & death. Oh, I'm not joking. Albus S. Potter/OC | Next-Generation Original version

"You won't forget about me will you?" Scorpius stared down in shock at the gorgeous freckled-faced girl lying next to him. He was slightly offended that she thought he could ever forget her. They'd been best mates since the moment she scared the bullies off on their first train ride to Hogwarts. He'd been in love with her since the moment in the fourth year when she scolded him for falling off his broom but proceeded to clean up his wounds with a gentle touch. How in the world could she think he'd ever forget her? "You really think I could forget you?" Rose shrugged staying silent, as she picked at a loose thread in his sheets, refusing to meet his steely gaze. Tomorrow was their last day of exams, which meant Scorp was leaving tomorrow night. They had snuck up to Scorp's dormitory to get a few precious moments alone, while the rest of his dorm mates were off at his going away party. He still couldn't believe that by this time tomorrow he wouldn't know the next time they would see each other. The very thought killed him. Even though he'd known for over a year now that this day would come, he still wasn't ready for it. He wasn't ready to let her go just yet. He had a feeling he never would. At least not completely. Gripping her chin delicately, he raised her face so that their eyes met. "I could never forget you." Before she could argue or think up some other absurd thought, Scorp guided her lips to his. Rose kissed him back sweetly. After nearly a year together he still wasn't sick of kissing her. He pulled away to look into her pale blue eyes, hoping he was conveying everything that she meant to him with his next words. "I'll love you always."

Our heroes return to Hogwarts for what's certain to be an eventful sixth year. Their fifth year tied up all loose ends in a nice little bow, leaving Albus and his friends ready for a fresh new start... or so they think. At Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, nothing is ever as it seems. Delphi is still on the run, and the threat she poses to Hogwarts students looms. However, this school year promises to be exciting: a grand and familiar event is being hosted at Hogwarts, with a twist, bringing more new faces than ever before to the castle grounds. Drama is certain to stir, trouble is undoubtedly in store, and could there be some betrayal, heartbreak, longing and confusion in the mix there as well? Only Merlin knows. Also, in the summary for my last book I mentioned the only story I could find that was based on the cursed child and actually took the events in the cursed child into account. I have found another one. Please read "A Harry Potter next gen fanfiction" by Potter_fan_girl. It is super awesome and you should totally check it out!

Rose Weasley has always been the top of her class. She got it from her mum, the pure determination to soak in all the information that she learned because to her, there was nothing more interesting. But at the start of her sixth year, she is already feeling stumped, and not because of the higher-level N.E.W.T classes that she is taking. No, this is because of a Malfoy. Her parents were never too thrilled that she was friends with the kid, but it didn't stop Rose, especially not when she couldn't even see her best friend/cousin without also seeing him. Along with Rose, Scorpius was also one of the top students in the class. He was her only real competition. And the friendly competition never hurt anyone, well, not until this year. Rose can't put her finger on what it is exactly, that has caused this shift in her friendship with Scorpius and she hates it. She hates not knowing the answers to things, and this one replayed in her head all the time. She's stumped trying to figure it out, of course not realizing that it's her cluelessness that's the real problem. This story is filled with all the different types of love, family, friends, and yes, some romance. Follow Rose on her coming of age journey through her last two years at Hogwarts, where she learns all that she possibly can about magic, and possibly more importantly, about life. ***Note: This story was written before the Cursed Child, so not everything is completely "cannon" but more of my ideas on the next generation before the Cursed Child even came out. Thanks for reading!***

The first time someone tried to kill Rose Granger-Weasley was the third-worst day of her life. The last time someone tried to kill Rose Granger-Weasley was less than 24 hours ago. It is a dangerous assignment filled with death threats and assassination attempts. It's been two years since Rose Weasley left Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Even then, she didn't know what she was expecting to become of her life, but she knew her family, she knew her friends, and of course, she knew Scorpius Malfoy better than anyone else. But a lot can change in two years. People grow. People get jobs. People get separated due to life keeping them too busy for each other. And then other people leave. Scorpius was one of those people. He left to follow his dreams, as they say. Yet, Rose never expected it to take this long. No one did. Can Rose move on from him fully? Or will he somehow sneak back into her life after months apart? This is book two of the "Clueless" story. If you haven't read it, I recommend that you do. You can find it on my page! Enjoy this new, grown-up version of Rose and the gang as they try to navigate adulthood and life outside of Hogwarts.

After the events of Albus' fifth year, returning to Hogwarts is certain to never be the same. With Scorpius by his side, his relationship with his father mended, and some newfound popularity under his belt, what could go wrong? A lot, it seems. You can rest assured that with the Potters, the crazy never ends. With three years left in school, Albus still has a lot of ground to cover. New friends to meet, new challenges to overcome, and perhaps a few old faces he'd hoped he would never have to see. Can Albus Potter and his friends conquer a new year at Hogwarts, unlike any year before? *I wrote this because none of the next generation themed books seem to have been written by people who have actually read the cursed child. It's driving me crazy, and I'm sure it's driving others crazy too. If you're looking for some more of these stories, I suggest "Harry Potter and the cursed child: The combat" by Fish-out-of-water-5.
