The unholy union of a high school AU and a ghost story. Gerard's life takes a strange turn when his family moves to a small town in Vermont and he discovers the locals aren't all what they seem to be. Also includes: unexpected nature walks, murder, pining, improper treatment of crime scenes, a number of bone-related puns, high school bullies, and a short-range shrub named Ferdinand. First: some extra warnings - This contains violence, homophobia, character death (but the character's still there--there's a fair amount of delving into the subject of death and dying, though, so be aware of that.) There's also some bizarre supernatural sex, but no necrophilia. Just putting that out there now, in case anyone was worried. NO NECROPHILIA. Frank is just an ordinary person, with an ordinary job, when one day everything changes. Gerard Way is the school's Norman Bates. He's freaky, he acts like he's constantly anticipating something, and he does taxidermy. People fear him, and quite honestly, he gets off on it. There are so many bad rumors circulating about him that even he isn't sure which ones are true. Meanwhile, Frank Iero has a reputation for himself. He's an idiot. A comedic one, especially with his friend James, but an idiot. He once came to school high off his ass and passed his math exam with flying colors. It was a dumb move, but an entertaining one. [one shot + full story now in development] Being an 18 year old high school senior is hard. It's even worse when you're Frank Iero, immutable punk kid feared by at least three quarters of the student body, persecuted by teachers and downtrodden by anyone brave enough. To top it off, too socially moronic to be able to convince anyone he's not as bad as he seems. Other than Lynsey, his best and only friend, Frank has no one. Until Gerard shows up. Trust me, Pencey Preparatory School is not ready for the hurricane of horror he brings with him.
