Makoto Naegi -a prince that have to run away from his country with his sister Komaru Naegi after he saw his parents being killed in front of him and watched his kingdom being destroyed by unknown power . They were lucky enough to stumble upon Hajime Hinata , a honored knight of the Trigger Happy Havoc Empire and that also agreed to take care of them as if they were his own children. But Makoto Naegi didn't like the idea of being a burden to someone he cares about and got a job as a royal servant for Prince Byakuya Togami. At the start they didn't get along well, but after getting to know each other more they became friends.
