Amy is back from a year long trip to grow, figured out what she truly wants in life, and decides to throw herself a "Welcome Home" party, inviting all her friends, including someone she has recently been having feelings for; Shadow. But how will she handle it when Sonic starts coming on to her, or when Shadow leaves G.U.N.? Read to find out. (I promise the story is written better than this summary.)

As the two begin to get to know each other on a more personal level, feelings for one another begin to bloom, causing a world of internal confusion. Shadow-wanting to keep it professional-with Amy conflicted about her feelings for Sonic. Will the two end up confessing to one another? This is I Can't Breathe Without You.

Dark Alternate Universe/Not Canon: After Sonic takes things too far and no one stands up for her, Amy Rose disappears...only to return two years later a different person. Meanwhile, things have been relatively quiet since Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik was arrested and all his bases seized by G.U.N. However a new menacing threat is looming in the darkness.
