Princess Poppy of Troll Village couldn't be happier with how things were going. As you probably know, Synth is a Techno Troll with both Splashtastic water powers and a heart fully committed to three things: being best friends with Willow, loving my sister Viva, and of course, the thumpin' beat of EDM! What we didn't know about him until recently was his life before meeting us. Even our friends who have known him the longest knew nothing about his childhood. When his life is in danger, however, after a vicious attack by a genetically modified Mount Rageon named George, it's left up to Willow, Viva, and a few of our other friends to travel beyond our world to find the truth about Synth's past and the key to saving his life before it's too late.

Two years after the events of Trolls Band Together, everything is great. Trollstopia is flourishing, all the troll tribes are living in peace and harmony and Poppy and Branch are still going strong. The tribal leaders are now having meetings every month (or when ever they need to) to check up on what was happening in all the troll tribes. During one meeting they receive a letter for help from an unknown person from a place called TROLLVALOR- the ancestral home if all trolls. They must travel to this far away land to find who sent this letter, and as they search they meet many trolls "in between", while a new villain is waiting to strike. Will they make it back to the Trolldom alive? Will they get to the sender on time to help them? Oh, I almost forgot, Branch has a BIG question to ask "What is going to happen will either be good or bad, but some lives will change forever. The Trolldom IS NOT SAFE !"
