Who in their right mind would ask a teenager to write a 4000 word essay on the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald anyway? To me, English class was simply the fine art of over analyzing very old pieces of literature. It was usually pretty easy for me to string together some intricate sounding sentences about these old novels. My English teacher loved me for it, but for this particular essay, I was utterly incapable of replicating the excellence of my previous work. All I knew was that Nick Carraway was definitely gay for Gatsby. _________ When two high school boys find themselves being forced into partnership for a class project, things get interesting. Also, the reality of Nick Carraway's homosexuality is arguable, I simply used this opinion for the sake of my story and its plot.

I'm sure everything will clear up perfectly though, because they're gonna go ice skating together on New Years and no amount of awkward-texting-ness can stop their love! Centuries ago, the world was as it is for you. Humans hunting, animals living, and evolution expanding. But, humans got greedy. They wanted too much, they used whatever they could find to get what they dreamed of- good or bad. They went to science, to alchemy, to the dead practices of their ancestors. And they paid the heavy price for trying to get more than they needed. Now, animals run free, humans live in hiding, cities and towns overgrown and used by any- just not humans. The world has been taken over by a different race, humans and their new "rulers" living separate, one fearing the other, 'the other' fearing 'one'. The rulers, the species that was created by humans, they were ones that never should have been possible.
