~In Norse mythology, a valkyrie is one of a host of female figures who choose those who may die in battle and those who may live. Valkyries also appear as women with tremendous beauty, lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty. ~ After hearing of a weapon of mass destruction that was falling into the wrong hands on one of the Republic's planets, Obi-Wan Kenobi and his former padawan Anakin Skywalker are sent to Valeria to restore peace on the former quiet and peacefull planet. It is only after they capture the rebel's leader, a woman called Lyanna, that they discover that there is much more behind the so called 'civil war'. Some reviews: This is heartbreakingly beautiful. I love every part of this story, from the descriptions to the references. It's humorous and dramatic, tragic and fiery. I love this story so much oh my god 🥺 this story is so different than your usual fanfiction in all the best ways- the heroine is strong and can take care of herself, but she has flaws and she's not a mary sue. A developed world besides just the stuff shown in the story, complicated and memorable characters, beautiful writing, this story is just the best <3 Y e s No other words can describe this book because I'd have to use them all (Not your basic "love at first sight" story where there is no or rarely a mention of the Jedi's rules and Obi-Wan's commitment to them. (Because let's be honest here, it's almost impossible to make him ignore the rules) Plus, besides the romance, there is much more in this story and an actual plotline. So don't expect any rainbows, butterflies and love-sick puppies! ) Cover made by me

The hall was empty and dark, a mist laying over the ground like a veil. The temple felt like a beating heart of something maleficent and fierce, swallowing everything it could touch whole. She could feel his hatred growing stronger with each step she took. It was a weight that pressed down on her, forcing the air from her lungs and making it hard to breathe. She was drowning in his fury, feeling herself slip away from reality with each passing second. That was what it was. Pure madness, echoing through the halls and intensifying a hundredfold each moment. Feet stopped dead in their tracks, eyes closed and focussing on the force. Through it she felt his eyes, his dark, maleficent eyes focussed on her through the shadows. He shifted through the mists, the ripples in the air reaching her and spiking her senses. Lyanna opened her eyes, focussing on the dark figure that was hiding in the darkness. "Show yourself." She could see nothing but two yellow orbs, like the eyes of a predator, prowling through the mist. To say he frightened her would be an understatement. "The doctor." He chuckled, the mad sound echoing through the halls and sending chills up her spine. Her hand instinctively went out to her lightsaber, her thumb pressing against the button and her eyes trained on his figure. "I was hoping for Kenobi." His voice was low and threatening. Maul stepped out of the shadows, his eyes glaring at her from afar as he ignited his double-bladed lightsaber at his side. The red casted eery shadows on his dark face, his yellow orbs flaring with pure hatred as he snarled. "Why are you here?"

Mice were common creatures inside the homes of District Nine. A constant reminder of their failure during the rebellion. Originally released by their oppressors as a form of biological weapons, it wasn't uncommon to see their descendant's scurrying the dirt streets. When the Capitol learned of them being easily slayed during the war, they modified the failed jabberjays to attack anyone who harmed the disease carriers. A trait that the Mockingjay sadly kept. To this day the people of Nine can't go near a mouse without the birds attacking. As after all... what was a Mockingjay without a Mouse by their side? ༻❁༺ pre hunger games, to mockingjay part two

"The things we love destroy us every time, lad. Remember that." Fairies are one of the oldest race of beings in Arda -once they called Numenór home- but Arethusa watched as the sea claimed the island from the helm of a ship as the survivors fled to Middle Earth. She has wandered for several lifetimes and has seen nearly all there is. Long had she set aside her bow and sward for, in truth, a healer's hands see more blood than a warrior's. Over the years, she had grown to love the ways of hobbits and there is no hobbit she adores more than Bilbo Baggins. When her visit is interrupted by a band of uncouth dwarves and her dear friend goes running out his door on an adventure what can she do but follow? Celebríel is the first-born daughter of Lord Elrond and Lady Celebrían, though her parentage is not easily recognized. Unlike her other siblings, she does not carry the features of her father. Rather, she bears a striking resemblance to her grandmother, the Lady Galadriel, with deep golden hair and a tall, slender figure; though her silver-ringed evergreen eyes belong to her alone. On her first visit to Mirkwood with her brothers Elladan and Elrohir, she is both enraptured and mystified by the strangely different Woodland Realm, particularly with a certain ill-tempered prince. Her distaste for him proves to be mutual, but something else simmers beneath the surface. Days turn into weeks, and Celebríel and Legolas must work together as challenges arise from both Mirkwood and Rivendell. But as she and the prince grow closer, Celebríel begins to question whether it is truly fate that ties the thread between them. For the Woodland Realm is enmeshed in secrets, and all may not be what it seems when they begin to unravel... ~~~ Book 1 of the "Daughter of Lórien" Trilogy [LotR Fanfiction] This story occurs before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. *I own nothing except my original characters.
