Percy Jackson moves from New York City to the eerie town of Angel Falls to live with his estranged aunt and uncle. He didn't want to come here, but he promised his mother to try and make family. In this new life away from home, all he wants is to focus on his art and blend into the shadows. He definitely doesn't want to get involved in any trouble, but that's easier said than done. The town's two rival factions, the Woodies and the Damps, fight over control of the town; also, they both want a piece of Percy. His biology makes him a prime target. Struggling to fit in and cope with the town's mysterious atmosphere, Percy faces hostility and attraction from both groups and their people. Ultimately, Percy just wants to get through high school and leave, but when mysterious murders start consuming the town, he is forced to become something else altogether. Literally, the Woodies and the Damps are out for blood, preferably his blood.
