They flew in a rigid square formation. Many claps and hollers were heard in the crowd; Dyvahn clapped along too so people wouldn't look at him disdainfully. "We conquered the WaterTribe with ease! Although it was tiresome, we are proud to say we did not lose anyone in the battle. The WaterTribe now knows our power and will bend to our will. Due to this, we can now influence and teach them the correct ways. Look again to your fellow mighty comrades and clap again. You should aspire and admire them! They have partaken in a world-changing event, a mark in history, and a mark for the future! Eventually, the GrasslandTribe will be known for not only conquering, but teaching the other tribes! We will become the Father of this land, sitting alongside the Great Mother Dragon herself!" Rei spoke his encouraging speech. The hollers continued in the crowd, maybe even got louder. The dragon army flew just above them and hovered around them in a circle. "The army will now land with my command. Feel free to greet and congratulate them for their stupendous victory." Rei raises a hand to the air, almost like for a high-five. He pauses for a few seconds then swiftly cuts the air. In one motion, all the dragons descend and land, some grunting. Speech erupted among the people as they flock to the nearest warrior. Two high pitched squeals sound, and the two girls from earlier run passed Dyvahn, nearly running him over. Dyvahn follows them nonchalantly to a particular rider and his bright orange dragon. "Lieutenant Daniel!" they scream in unison. He dismounts with a smirk. Dyvahn leans against a nearby building and watches them with a gag. The lieutenant kneels and kisses them both on the hands, causing both of their cheeks to turn as pink as a flower.

Zoe froze as a loud squawk sounded ahead of her. She looked down to the ground were she followed a blood trail. The dragon had stepped on something sharp as it fleed from Zoe. The poor thing, I just want to help. Zoe walked forward as quietly as she could. She could hear the exhausted breaths of the white dragon. Zoe approached it quietly, but failed to not be noticed. The dragon instantly lifted its head in Zoe's direction, but laid it back down with a deep exhale. Zoe could see the blood oozing from the deep wound in its talon. Zoe approached it and kneeled down next to it. The dragon curled its tail tightly around itself. Zoe kneeled for a second in awe. Never once had she seen a white dragon. It was like seeing a ghost, which the dragon was just as quiet as one. She looked at the bright purple on its wings, it reminded her of the flowers the petunias. "You're very pretty, like a petunia." Zoe spoke to the dragon softly. The dragon's ears perked up and it chirped softly at the word petunia. "Petunia?" Zoe questioned the dragon. The dragon cooed softly. "I'm Zoe." She introduced herself.

Suddenly, the dragon, called Alligator, swung her tail around, knocking Tanu into her. Tanu was stuck between the dragon's belly and tail. Tanu sighed, trying to wiggle free, but Alligator's tail only tightened. Alicia giggled at Tanu's useless attempts. Alligator's eyes shot open, fully black. The dragon stared at Alicia, unblinking. Alicia stood steadfast, her heart racing. "I told you; you have a visitor." Tanu pat Alligator's tail. He did not seem nearly as scared by Alligator's movements as Alicia did. Alligator lifted her head, looking to Tanu, then back to Alicia. She straightened her tail, allowing Tanu to stand up. After standing, Tanu turned and grabbed one of the dragon's legs. He tried pulling the dragon up, pulling with all his body. Alligator stared at Tanu and blinked slowly, unaffected. She laid her head back down and shut her eyes, going limp. Tanu nearly fell forward from her weight. "Alligator! Come on now!" Tanu laughed, straining as he still tried to pull her up. Alligator opened her eyes again, but she did not move. The fire of the torchlight reflected in her dark eyes. "Are her eyes supposed to be like that?" Alicia asked; she still hadn't moved, feeling as if the dragon's gaze locked her in place. Tanu nodded. "Only RiverDragons have all black eyes, unless they are underwater. They put a film over their eyes to see heat in the murky water; it makes their eyes white." Alicia nodded, still staring at the dragon's eyes. With no color to them, it was hard to tell how the dragon was feeling. Alicia didn't know if the dragon was comfortable or scared by her presence; Alicia didn't even know if she was comfortable or scared. *note: the later half of these chapters are just archived, original writing. I've gone through and spruced up grammar and descriptions. But Erin? Why bother to keep it! (Because it's good to see your progress and show new writers progress, not perfection!)
