The next morning I woke up with a smile on my face. I went to the bathroom and looked into the mirror. I guess I was checking to make sure I still didn't look like my mother. Nope. I was good to go. I had black hair like her, but mine cascaded in glossy waves halfway down my back. My eyes were an dark black like hers, but hers looked flat and vengeful while mine had depth and character.
