𝓛𝐈 𝓛𝐈 𝓜𝐄𝐈 and 𝓢𝐔𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐎 𝓑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀 were different sides of the same dangerous, but a very beautiful flower; while both seemingly pure and calm on the outside, they both couldn't escape from this bitter, grotesque poison, hidden deep inside their dim, seemingly innocent souls. ˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀ 𓏵 𝓛𝒊 𝓜𝒆𝒊 was as pure and peaceful as lily; drinking a bittersweet tea from a vintage, slightly cracked teacup and holding an ephemeral, hazy smile on her lips. While being covered in the ugly rot of her past mistakes, she sells medicines to stop others from rotting; believing that 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 every human is fixable. ⊹ ࣪ ˖ Excluding the one who wanted to find cracks in the light reflected in her hazy dark eyes, or seeds of elysian flowers planted deep inside her heart... little too much. 𓏵 𝓑𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂 was as toxic and griefful as lily also; acting with a sharp knife like a doctor with their god tools. With these charming, but harmful eyes, and hands who held more types of blood, than people in a different type of embrace than a deathly one. He didn't save people from anything else but life itself, believing that no one truly deserves it. ⊹ ࣪ ˖ Especially one specifically eerie person with flowers in their hair, who couldn't help but keep trying to fix his unfixable heart, even with a sharp, firm knife against their throat, delicate like petals of a flower. ⊹ ࣪ ˖ They end up in Borderlands while being in cruelly other situations-Li Mei during a peaceful walk, and Banda during a walk too; but towards a death sentence. Her path filled with flowers, his path filled with a poison of the same plants. ⊹ ࣪ ˖ If the flower glanced at the knife, the knife would look away. But if the knife glared at the flower, the knife would already be poisoned. Because of the flower.

For 𝐋𝐞𝐞 𝐇𝐲𝐞𝐢𝐧 nothing was ever simple, which was one reason she decided to be an exchange student in Japan. She enjoyed living in an unfamiliar environment because it gives her more opportunities to observe. She was never open to anyone, rarely even her brother Takeru. She was always told It wasn't who she was and she believed it. For Morizono Aguni everything was her opposite. He seemed to always get his way when he needed it. He was smart, strong and knew his way around. For him being her brother's friend he knew everything yet nothing at all about Heyin. They were nearly all theory's. Opinions to say the least. An interest sparked the second she showed up at Takeru's door but no sign of that spark ever revealed. Aguni practically lived with Takeru and Hyein and still not much had ever happened between the two. Quick talks when Takeru was late for something or nights where they both sat in their living room with comfortable silence. They'd both observe everything from tone to body language. That's what they always did. Quiet spoke louder for the both of them. So when they were in the borderlands, things got confusing for them real quick.

𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐉𝐔 𝐊𝐔𝐙𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐔̄ lived for justice; for courtroom drama, for putting people behind bars, for moving through disputes like a pawn, ready to defeat a dangerous king. Always promising that only truth and evidence would lead to a solution. This didn't come out of nowhere; after daily noticing that justice isn't the basis for judging people, but values like wealth or importance in society, she made it her life's goal to constantly fight for justice and order in the world. When she ends up in Borderlands, she makes things clear; Shinju won't allow these principles to disappear, even though the courts and prisons are arenas for deciding the human cycle of life, not human justice. 𝐒𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐎̄ 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐘𝐀, on the other hand, was her moral opposite. His apathetic movements move through crowds of emotional people, treating them as fools, doomed to a lost case. Treating his patients more like tests, not the beings capable of feeling something he was never of. His life has never had room for empathy; he saw more text in books and real organs than letting feelings into his body or obeying established laws. Therefore, they mean as much to him as the fate of a patient who died after months of battling cancer. When he ends up in Borderlands, he doesn't care about attempts to make some rules; breaking them like a pawn beating down a king on a chessboard.

𝓚𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐈 𝓡𝐄𝐈 was a cult leader and assassin who held a syringe filled with humanity's poison. Masked as a dying patient in a hospital, doctors ignored her because she looked like she wouldn't make it to the very next day. But they were wrong. She was dangerous. Not only in the way she coaxed innocent sheep toward the wolf's den but how she conducted a church with nothing but a veil and candle, where the hands of the desperate and seeking claw at her feet in a thirst for god's-no, her salvation. 𝓜ost assassins kill for orders. Kuromi believed otherwise. Where to her, it wasn't simply murder, believing it to be nature for the weak to follow the powerful. The world was overgrown greedy, selfish, rotting at the roots, she only pruned what did not deserve to bloom. 𝓢𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐎 𝓒𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐘𝐀 held a syringe like the antidote against humanity's poison. As a heart surgeon, human life was simply necessary in a system- not that that would ever explain why he never valued his own. Maybe because he had never once seen it as irreplaceable. He was quiet in the way empty rooms were quiet, his accuracy unsettling whether that blade he held with surgical hands was metaphorical or real. 𝓨et that never explained why his patients kept dying before he got to open their hearts. Why the world did not get better, only quieter, until one night, he saw who had been holding the rotten, bloody knife all this time. 𝓐 garden must be trimmed. A flock must be guided. For him, a heart must keep beating no matter the cost. And to her, an already selfish world must still be purified of human filth. 𝓣he two of them walked opposite directions- one playing god, other playing human, yet they followed each other like poison and antidote, falling into a land where there is no room for morals. 𝓑elief in the gods are lost, they are weak, but power is true once you get the slightest taste. And both of them refuse to let go.
