But both succumb to the pressure of their family, and both agree to meet eachother, eventually concocting a plan to fake date eachother so their parents realize how horribly suited they are for marriage- and for eachother. One thing leads to another, and both Aru and Aiden find themselves wrapped up in a rollercoaster of secrets, built up emotion, and unanswered questions. This is an AU from the book serie "Aru Shah". Big part of the characters are from the awesome Roshani Chokshi. Aru have lost everything because The Otherworld, a secret spy society. The ones that were supposed to protected her, turned her back to her when they discovered who her dad was (a murder part of the Dark).
