What if Rhysand had a daughter with Amarantha? Amarantha had Rhysand under her control for 49 years for her own perverted purposes. During their time together, she conceived a child. A child that Amarantha told him died during child birth. Or did she? Azriel x original character fic. Disclaimer- All rights belong to Sarah J Maas. There are also some quotes I have borrowed from Xaden Riorson (because he is just a vibe) so rights for those belong to Rebecca Yarros. Only my MFC belongs to me.

CURRENTLY EDITING Isarella, the daughter of Thesan, High Lord of the Dawn Court, endured horrors that shattered her spirit and left her scarred in body and soul. Trapped Under the Mountain alongside Rhysand, Isarella's unique gifts became both her salvation and her curse. As a healer with power inherited from her father, she was forced to mend the broken bodies of her captors and victims alike. But beneath her quiet demeanor lay a secret ability: the power to command light itself. With a snap of her fingers, she could extinguish the stars or bring radiant dawn to the darkest of nights-a power she kept hidden, knowing it could bring devastation if wielded recklessly. When Feyre arrived Under the Mountain to free her love, Tamlin, Isarella became an unwilling witness to Feyre's trials. Bound in scraps of clothing and forced to stand alongside Rhysand, she watched Feyre fight against the impossible. And when Feyre solved Amarantha's riddle only to have her life cruelly snuffed out, Isarella made a choice that would change her fate forever. Joining the High Lords, she granted Feyre a fragment of her light, weaving her own power into Feyre's rebirth. Years later, as the war with Hybern looms, Isarella is forced to face the nightmares of her past once more. Reuniting with Rhysand and his Court brings buried trauma to the surface, but it also brings unexpected connections. When Isarella crosses paths with Azriel, the Shadowsinger, her light collides with his shadows in a way that neither of them can deny. Drawn to one another, they uncover secrets that could change the course of the war-and their lives. As Hybern's armies threaten Prythian, Isarella must embrace the full extent of her powers, even if it means confronting the ghosts of her captivity and the pain of standing beside Rhysand once more. Will her light be enough to banish the shadows of her past? Or will her fractured heart and the darkness she once endured consume her entirely? ALL RIGHTS BELONG TO SJM

Gwyneth had always felt connected to her faith, a higher power presiding over her. That faith had shaken that devastating day those years ago, the day that went on to haunt her every nightmare for years to come. She's still trying to come back from it, to not only restore her faith in life and love, but her faith in herself. The sanctity of her spirit- she prayed for resolve. Every punch was a prayer. Every mile was a hymn. Until her knuckles bled and her knees gave. Azriel had been surrounded by darkness his whole life, a poison on his world, on his being. He exercised restraint in his every waking moment, banishing that darkness within himself. Some guessed of the strain it put on him, but no one knew the extent of it, how deep his scars ran. It was better this way, he was sure. He had always thought that if there were a higher power- which he wholly doubted- such deities must loathe him to have burdened him such darkness. He hadn't much faith in the gods anyway, much less faith that he could sway their opinion on him. But Gwyneth and Azriel did have one thing in common: the quiet fight within themselves. They only knew one way: to go about it alone, couldn't fathom letting another in. But there's a magic in finding someone who is your equal but opposite, something transforming. And frankly, Gwyneth and Azriel could both use a little magic. All characters owned by SJM in the ACOTAR series. Story takes place after the events of ACOSF. Aligns with the events in my other fic: A Storm of Flames and Deceit. I haven't finished Crescent City, so this story takes place outside of the events of those books as well. "I thought we were friends, Azriel. I was caught off-guard but you have to know it was forgiven the day it happened." The priestess looked back up to him. His body vibrated from the determination that sparkled in her gaze like the moon reflected in the sea. "It was stupid, Azriel. And unfair to both Elain and myself. But everyone does stupid things." The Illyrian took a cautious step toward her, afraid she would bolt. "We are friends, Gwyn. I'm sorry. You're right, I was an idiot." "We both deserve better. But I know you'll be better." She shrugged. His breathing shallowed when she finally pushed away from the door frame and walked to him, stopping just out of his reach. "I miss you, Azriel." A story of Azriel and Gwyn as they begin to build their lives together, even as darkness - from around them and within - threatens to tear them down.Gwyneth
