They have been insperable ever since Felix was brought to the Hwang house hold. Felix came out at the age of 11 and everyone was supportive, especially Hyunjin. Felix then later realized he feels more comfortable with himself in girl clothing and Hyunjin was there for him in that trail of his life. Hyunjin has sworn he was straight forever but continues to act gay towards Felix. But that's not really what it is. His actions are a little different from how he feels. He feels weird about Felix.
