This story takes place in double life :) Scar's been in love with Grian for longer than he'd like to admit, so he was stoked to find out that he was soul bound with him. That feeling quickly fades though due to the way Grian treats him. Grian has never had anything against Scar, but he wasn't very happy to find out that he was his soulmate. When he was with Scar he always felt like he was babysitting, being soul bound to Scar was more of a burden than a blessing for him.

If getting into dangerous situations everyday to see a special somebody was what it took, Grian would do whatever it takes. When Grian was young, the streets adopted him for most of his youth, until a young woman who goes by the name of Cleo came and rescued the rest of his life, to an extent, and gives him a new purpose for his future. The Candy Club. It was never a bad day or night in the Candy Club, drinks were passed around, music was blaring through speakers and people danced until they dropped. One day, a terrible accident occurs and Grian is forced to realise that his life isn't just all fun and games like he imagined it was. When he meets Scar, the doctor and combined fire fighter, his life lights up like a light bulb turning on. Suddenly the reckless things he does might not be so bad if he can see doc Scar. This story starts right after chapter 15 of Double Hearted by Kitsuneisi on Tumblr. Cover art was also created by Kitsuneisi. After Grian is released from the hospital things aren't the same between Hotguy and Cuteguy. Hotguy trying to make up for his mistakes leads to an unexpected discovery that could change the lives of mutants everywhere, and changes his relationship with Grain and Cuteguy. They grow closer as the world around them changes. This is also my first fanfiction in 5-6 years I want to note that I am a physically disabled man myself and an ambulatory wheelchair, cane, and brace user, so a lot of what I write in this about experiencing disability is based on my own personal experiences. I, however, do not have a neuromuscular condition like Scar and this will definitely not be accurate to his real condition.
