But now , with a developing baby in my stomach,I couldn't even hold his stare at him fixedly. "What?" I gazed at him abruptly. I knew that tone. It was the tone he used on the female students who flocked around him, hoping to get him as their school father. It was also the same tone he used when talking to Tina,his ex girlfriend. It was a tone That pleased me, because it was all he needed to scare away threats to our relationship. The last person I expected the irritated tone to be used on was me. "I said I'm pregnant" I repeated,hoping he would erase the disgusted look he had on his face,and return to the usual Jide who had every situation under his control

Nsikan isn't just our cliché high school girl. In fact, she's as normal as they get. An average look, an average brain, and an average way of reasoning.
