After being exiled from the Void Dimension, Karck, a monstrous Void Beast, arrives in the ruins of war-torn London through the Portal of Reigning Darkness. With the city already broken by the aftermath of the Third World War, Karck seizes the opportunity to claim it as his own. Consuming human souls to build a Nexus of Shadows, he begins transforming Earth into a realm of eternal darkness. As fear spreads, survivors realize they are no match for Karck's destructive power, and the world begins to tremble under his growing dominion.
