Well, hello there! This is my Christmas special book and is meant to resemble a Hallmark- hopefully a little less cheesy! It will end once we reach Christmas (or New Years- depends on where I go with it) and I hope that you all stick around for the ride! _________________________________ Grian absolutely HATES Christmas. Grian is a senior majoring in Architectural Design at his dream college, horribly burnt out and disillusioned with the system. Scar is studying to open the Scarland park he saw every time he closed his eyes. Jimmy is just trying to cope with the loss of his parents when he needed them most, trying to figure out who he is. Joel doesn't know what he wants, but he knows he needs to become someone who can stand proudly next to the person he loves. Lizzie has only ever wanted to help people, And Gem just wants to do her part to keep their crumbling world together. Their teacher, Professor Mumbo, wants nothing more than to do right by his students. So, when the opportunity for a life-changing competition arises-a chance to win full tuition from an organization called the "Watchers"-he volunteers to chaperone. No one questioned it when the bus drove off into the Pacific Northwest. No one thought to check if the GPS was working. Now, they're stranded in the wilderness, far from civilization, with no way out. OR Professor Mumbo Jumbo, Scar, Grian, Jimmy, Joel, Lizzie, and Gem to a competition in Seattle, ran by an organization called the "Watchers," which promised to pay the winners tuition in full. Things go slightly awry when Mumbo gets them all lost in the middle of the Pacific Northwest wilderness. Oopsie! (I'll make a better cover eventually, lol)

Hermit City is a city of heroes and villains, and Grian is one of its most reliably factual and truthful reporters. So reliable, in fact, that the Heroes' Association values him and his reports enough that they assigned him a bodyguard: HotGuy himself! Grian and Scar have been doing this for years, now, and their relationship is more than just that of bodyguard and charge. It might even be more than just a friendship! Their time to explore and find out what they are to each other is cut short when Grian starts investigating the famous Pearl Moon case, and Scar isn't there to protect him.

Scar has no time to be a college student while protecting the city. He spends most of his time being the cities golden boy, HotGuy while crushing on his partner in crime fighting, CuteGuy. The hero however has more secrets than his identity. Grian is your average college student but when class his out he's not very average at all. Grian is CuteGuy a vigilante that patrols only at night sparing his day to spend time with his crush, Scar and hang out with his friend Mumbo. All remains the same until the pair get kidnapped by a villains association called VexCorp and must work together to free themselves before vexes begin terrorizing the city. Grian, Jimmy, and Joel have been close friends since they were kids. They had powers but only used them when needed to. Grian could use his powers for a lot of reasons. Joel had super strength which made him stronger than a usual man. And Jimmy had a very rare ability. Healing. Grian was protective of Jimmy as he was his little brother. The Bad Boy Cafe is something that they run together but they couldn't always stay together. Soulmates are still around and you can find them when you first touch them. So what happens when two friends come to the cafe for a coffee.

This story starts right after chapter 15 of Double Hearted by Kitsuneisi on Tumblr. Cover art was also created by Kitsuneisi. After Grian is released from the hospital things aren't the same between Hotguy and Cuteguy. Hotguy trying to make up for his mistakes leads to an unexpected discovery that could change the lives of mutants everywhere, and changes his relationship with Grain and Cuteguy. They grow closer as the world around them changes. This is also my first fanfiction in 5-6 years I want to note that I am a physically disabled man myself and an ambulatory wheelchair, cane, and brace user, so a lot of what I write in this about experiencing disability is based on my own personal experiences. I, however, do not have a neuromuscular condition like Scar and this will definitely not be accurate to his real condition.

Grian has moved too many times to count, he's never stayed anywhere for long, nor does he make any huge commitments. He barely ever keeps a promise. So when a cute guy comes along, threatening to steal his heart and stay by his side 'until the end,' what will Grian do? Will he run and abandon everything like he has oh so many times before, or will he stay and face the problems head on? When then watchers return with nothing but bad intentions, the story clearly already set in stone, with he accept his ill-fate or fight to change it? Remember folks, not every story has a happy ending, will this be another tale talked about for their painful deaths, or a tale told for the calm they saw after the storm?
