Recurring Nightmare appears in my horror anthology "Monsters in the Shadows". Brent refuses to accept what is occurring in his nightmare that he cannot wake up from. Upon dying violently in the dream, it starts over and becomes more intense. He realizes too late that everyone he has harmed is in it, only the roles are reversed.
