As Harry gets ready to start his 5th year at Hogwarts, he goes into his inheritance a whole three years early?! Upon getting his letters from Gringotts, Harry learns of his true heritage. Petunia wasn't stupid. She knew what was in store for her nephew and her family. So she does something about it. She knew of other magic schools in Europe, one called Durmstrang in particular, which, in her opinion, seemed to be the better school, after all, how would one truly defend against something unless they are taught about it? So, as her last laugh at Dumbledore, her first step in protecting her family from what was coming and the only thing she ever did with Harry's wellbeing in mind, she rejects the schooling from Hogwarts for Harry, brings Harry to Gringotts and sets things up so Harry will go to Durmstrang instead. How will this affect the future? A few other characters will end up at Durmstrang for one reason or another, no spoilers for who though! This will have Dumbledore bashing, but NO Weasley bashing, honestly, I can respect some Dumbles bashing but the Weasleys are just too nice. Sure, they can put their feet in their mouths at times, but they aren't bad people, but Dumbledore in my opinion is too meddlesome and manipulative, even if his intentions aren't bad.
