After Slappy's failed attempt incorporating himself into the Quinn family, he ends up being thrown into a lake, chained up inside his case. It isn't until Dahlia Solana, a 16 year old sophomore student at Fortuna Shores Academy, happens to notice the case going down the lake during a walk through the woods. She successfully retrieves the chained case and brings it back home to inspect it.
