One teen who is emotionally unstable, who is suffering from depression and domestic violence, finds the love of her life? 16 year old Shailene has a hard time fitting in at home and school, she is self-conscious and has anxiety. How will she find her way out of this mess?

Realm is your typical 16 year old, insomnia has taken over her life, she skips breakfast and she has her nose glued to her phone. Realm is different. She doesn't fit in. Realm finds herself in the midst of an over populated high school, new friends, new town. Realm promised her parents she would be happy. Will realm settle in to her new surroundings? Realm, will you keep your promise?
