Sonic broke his leg saving Shadow from what could have been a near death experience. He needs to stay in recovery for more than 3 months and can't even walk. Will Shadows company be enough for him to last or will he go insane waiting for the time to pass?

He soon finds out Lancelot is so different from Shadow, and Sonic can't help his attraction. Keeping their personalities from Fated Dreams, loosely inspired by the 'Double Date' episode, this had been in drafts for over a month. His eyes were slightly closed, and he had a teasing look in them. 'He's flirting... totally flirting. This is flirting, right?' Sonic thought. Sonic swallowed. His throat was dry, and his thoughts were a mess. He couldn't remember the last time someone had looked at him like that. Sure, Shadow and him had a thing, but Lancelot looked at him in a way that made his heart race and want to melt at the same time. Which was odd. Sonic barely knew the guy.
