The aftermath of Neteyam's death hadn't been easy for anyone, least of all Lo'ak. He drowned in the guilt of believing that his brother had been killed because of his own stupidity. And his father didn't help either. Lo'ak understood that Jake was grieving in his own way, but when he needed his father the most, Jake turned his back on his youngest son. Still, Lo'ak was desperate to do anything to win over his father's approval.
