This takes place during season 1. Fuli has a problem with dealing with her past, and Kion wants to help her. But along the way they fall for each other. But another girl has also fallen for Kion, and would do anything to be with him.

Kopa finally reveals himself to Pride Lands. His goal: to overthrow Simba and take over the Pride Lands. With the entire Outlands on his side, the Pride Landers have to fight with everything they have to defend thier home. With Kion's Roar now lost the goal is not as easy to accomplish. Can the Lion Guard find the strength in themselves to defeat the Outland army or will Kopa force his way to the throne?

Simba's first son, Kopa, is born healthy and with a lust for adventure and curiosity. That leads him into some trouble. When he crosses the border into the Outlands, he meets a beautiful lioness named Vitani. The two become fast friend and maybe even more than that. Will that turn out to be a good thing? Or will the danger prove to be their undoing?

After narrowly escaping an attempt from the Outlanders, Kion is not only left with serious injuries, but the Ire of his father for befriending a lion's sworn enemy. Now, he must regain his confidence as Scar's Army is on the Rise. Meanwhile, tragedy looms in the backlands, and Jasiri will learn that friendship can overcome any disputes.
