The team had been hunting down a killer that had somehow managed to perfectly replicate multiple famous serial killers' and past BAU case kills for a week now. The kills are done so perfectly the team started to suspect that the person was in law enforcement or the FBI. They couldn't even track purchases as each victim had somehow been convinced to buy the very things that would later be used to kill them, all they have on the unsub is a grainy picture of a man in a black hoodie with a ribcage on the front and red pants.

Spencer Reid underwent physical and mental torture while captured by the unsub known as Tobias Hankel. After his release, the BAU team refused to conduct an interrogation lest it broke him. But the young agent will always remember.

Everytime his phone buzzes with a notification from William Reid, Aaron is always there to comfort him and distract him from the burning hole in his back pocket.

In this universe it's heavily based off of the beastars, the anime, universe. So hotch works for the BAU along with his team, (I'll give a description for each character as part one then part two will be the story start) on a brutal case where the unsub is throwing the team for a loop, so to avoid spending more expenses they call in a helping hand a young 24 year old who has connections with Gideon. (Btw I made the cover I know it's not good but I couldn't really find a picture that looked good so yea))
