"It's your last mission, don't reject it." The boss said, his voice harsh. "Alright," I replied, my voice tight with determination. "But I will leave this field after this mission." The statement hung in the air like a warning, a promise to both myself and him that I would no longer be bound by this dangerous life once it was.
