In an alternate universe or dimension, the world is overflowing with creatures called fairies and everyone knows who they are. But in this world, things are different. Like previous realities, this universe has a kingdom and it governs over everything fairly. Naturally everyone wants to be a part of the royal or noble status for different reasons but most of them are in it for their individual greed of wealth and power. There is a way to become famous and recognized and that's the fairy tournament. In this world, regular people have the chance to try and bond with a fairy and if they are successful, they become known as the chosen ones. The chosen ones will automatically stand out from the others and it garners both respect and admiration. They are also expected to help those who cannot help themselves and use their fairy's power to make things better. With the fairy tournament however, the chosen ones engage in a competition that is closely monitored by the populace, royal family and the nobles. If a chosen one wins the tournament and gets crowned champion, they will automatically join the nobles with the coveted position as a count/countess or even as a duke/duchess depending on their efforts. Regardless, it is without question that being a chosen one by itself is already a very high honor. Now the story follows a 16 year old boy named Alex, a hopeful individual who occasionally dreams about becoming one of the nobles and changing his life and his family's lives for the better. However, as hopeful as he may be, he's reckless, impatient and completely inexperienced in the battlefield. Despite this however, he still dreams of the day when he'll meet his destined fairy and become a chosen one in order to participate in the tournament and win.
