Rachel's Prophecy of Eight has begun after three new demigods have been picked up across the country. The new campers, and a slightly less newer one, must go on a quest to rescue the queen of the heavens. When they return, they realize their issue is bigger than they thought. They must go to the newly discovered Roman camp, pick up three other demigods, begin the quest to Rome, lose some team members in Tartaurs, close the Doors of Death, and inevitably wake Gaea. Sounds fun, right? Wrong. The diety Apate seems to want things to go her way. In doing so, pain is multiplied, and Livana is forced into her suffering. (Story cover by myself)

At the end of the battle with Gaea, right after Octavian shoots himself at the Earth Mother, Nico realizes his mistake. He realizes that he just allowed Leo to be shot down. He realized he was about to get one of the seven killed. In a desperate attempt to save him and possibly not be hated, he manages to knock Leo off of his flight path and into the ocean. But at the last moment before he crashes as well he's pulled into the shadows. After that all he can remember is pain, he wakes up in a hospital in Gotham city with people crowding him, a billionaire trying to play hero and take care of him, and people constantly asking him questions. Questions that should be easy to answer, right?
