A short story prequel set nine years before Steven Universe: The Diamond Legacy. Seven year old Nora figures out Garnet is a Fusion but she is too shy to ask her aunt if she is right. Luckily Garnet knows of the little girl's curiosity, leading to the youngest member of the Crystal Gems to learn the story of her mysterious Aunt and meet Ruby and Sapphire for the first time.

No one believed a human could stand against the Gem Empire-until one was given the power to change everything. Fenrir was one of the strangest members of the Crystal Gems. She was able to stand toe-to-toe against some of the toughest soldiers that Homeworld had to offer, but, despite her monstrous appearance-purple fur, blazing red wings, and horns that curved above her head-she was still human. Rose Quartz and Garnet rescued her from a Gem research facility, but even Garnet's future vision couldn't prepare them for the horrors Fenrir had endured. Her strength made her a formidable ally in the Gem War, and she quickly became an invaluable member of the Crystal Gems. She was their secret weapon, revered for her power. Unfortunately, none of them realized that they'd have to finish the fight without her. Near the end of the war, she was sent on a mission and disappeared, leaving her comrades to carry on without her. That is until several thousand years later when she appeared on a certain beach near a small town. As she reconnects with Garnet and the other Crystal Gems, she must confront the consequences of her absence, her volatile power, and the deep bond she shares with those she once fought beside. A rewrite of the original crossover with extra scenes, characters, and lore. While picnicking on the beach one day, Nora encounters a strange but friendly girl with pointed ears and an air of magic. After a frightful misunderstanding the girl, a hybrid witch named Azura, explains she's from another world. A world where magic reigns, and witches and demons live together. She heard stories about the human world and accidentally transported herself to Beach City in hopes of seeing it with her own eyes. Eager to make a magical new friend, Nora takes Azura on a friendly romp through Beach City to show her the joys of human life, but unknown to them, Azura's family came through their portal searching for the rebellious hybrid. When I wrote the Original crossover, the Owl House was still in progress of showing, now over a year since the finale I want to rewrite the story again with what we know now, including a new character from the Boiling Isles who's heart is bigger than her 'titanic' size.
