A modern, slow-burn set in London, where 25 year old Beatrice (Bee) Everly and Sebastian Sallow are Auror partners, flatmates, and more. They've been inseparable for years: working on cases, cosy nights at home with Ominis, mind bending parties, holidays. But with past traumas haunting him and the ever-present pull of Bee, Sebastian finds it harder to pretend that everything is okay. He has to make choices, and so does Bee.

An 11-chapter short story inspired by Phoebe Bridgers' hauntingly beautiful album 'Punisher'. As the wizarding world burns in the wake of the war against Ranrok, Sebastian and Eira are pulled into a love that feels both inevitable and impossible. Each chapter follows a track from the album, with lyrics from each respective track woven into the chapter. Amid the violence, grief, and their unspoken longing for each other, their story unfolds. A short yet haunting tale of two souls trying to hold onto each other as everything else falls apart.

Lonely, traumatized, and depressed, he never imagines his luck will change. But one moonlit night, it does. Fate intervenes in the form of Kate Mayflower, the Hogwarts assistant librarian. Infinitely optimistic and kind, she helps Sebastian find joy and peace again as he regains his humanity and rebuilds his life. While their journey towards happily ever after is a turbulent one, they slowly learn to trust in each other, believe in the power of true love, and heed the lessons from the past in order to grow.
