This is a narration provided by Tarn, the leader of the DJD. This is his story going even way back to when he was Damus, a Cybertronian who tried to keep him outlier status hidden until he had an encounter that altered to projection of his life.

When Dreadflight, a Decepticon assassin, is apprenticed to the D.J.D, she is surprisingly welcomed. The D.J.D. has their own set of demons, often in the form of Overlord who can't seem to leave them alone, but as well as many nightmares they experience in a line of work she never knew they did. Killing traitors is actually more of a side thing to cover up the real goings on, and there are a lot more enemies to the Decepticon name than Tarn and Megatron care to reveal. When an infiltrator is found inside their main headquarters however, all chaos threatens to break loose. But while Megatron swiftly covers everything up, Dreadflight finds herself running with the D.J.D. to stop the beginnings of a second, much more destructive war brewing on the horizon. [COMPLETED] The All Spark made Chambex with one purpose: to take down Tarn. She disguises herself as a potential agent of the DJD, but Tarn rapidly develops feelings for the new member of his team. His affection for Chambex begins to corrode his violent nature.

A new member has recently joined Team Prime. A short time passes and next thing you know the DJD's here. Raph will be useful. Like he'll know about technology and how to use the bridge except earlier. You'll learn about the OC as the story progresses.
