After all the events of part 1 of the book, this part takes place after season two of Wednesday. Wednesday is on the hunt to find her intended, Enid Sinclair. Being apart from her lover by rule of the Addams' curse is torture, and not the kind that Wednesday likes.

The Umbra Lupus, a secret order of outcast werewolves, have claimed Enid as their chosen Alpha. Meanwhile, Tyler roams the outskirts of Jericho, spreading chaos, and raven attacks strike with deadly precision, their origins controlled by a red-robed, white-masked Avian whose motives remain shrouded in shadow. The more Wednesday searches, the closer she comes to truths she may not be ready to face.
