"This girl went missing fourteen years ago." I mutter as I look at the poster on the light pole. Why is it still up? She looks calm, peaceful. It's sort of... eerie.

In the summer of 2005, a young girl goes missing. Her parents were found in the house, dead, their blood painting the walls and their bed. Her young brother was found in the house also, bruised and beaten, but still alive.
Fourteen years later, the girl remains unfound, the trail cold now. There, in that house on the hill, the boy continued to stay, memories of that summer night still engraved. People of his town shun him, calling him freak, monster, any term that could hurt. He's bullied and blamed, his life in shambles. But, why?
I'll tell you.

In NO way is this meant to be perceived as a romance. This book contains forced sexual content with minors, forced consent of things like kissing, etc., and a very ILLEGAL age gap. These things are simply important for the story. I implore you to check the TW and consider if you truly want to read. Enjoy!
