Buck and Eddie have always had such a special bond that everyone wishes they had in a person. Someone that is just their person inside and out. Everything changes in a blink of an eye, and Buck suddenly feels he has to fight every part of himself to get better, mentally and physically. And Eddie has been there helping Buck pick up the pieces after his accident. During the fight for his life, Buck also realized his true feelings for someone. But during his healing, he also gets a shocking surprise. One that just might give Buck the push he needed in his life to keep pushing forward. After helping Buck pick up the broken pieces of his suffering, what will happen between the two? Will their sparks ignite into something more? Or will those same broken pieces only break them apart. How will the Diaz boys react to Buck's upcoming surprise? How will Buck react? Eddie has spent his whole life trying to live up to his parents' expectations. He was used to them telling him he's a terrible parent. But saying that to Carla and, God forbid, Buck? Now that was crossing the fucking line.

Buck realizes that he begins to feel things for Eddie, while Eddie still doesn't understand how Buck could fit into his life as more than a friend. Is Christopher ready to have a new dad? Is Ms. Flores a potential enemy? A psychologist at Station 118? and new disasters that will only be avoided by calling 911...
