But what will they do when a strange doorway sends them back in time, and straight into the lives of the greatest rock band of all time, the Beatles? Hello! This is a Beatles fan-fiction, and also a little bit of a sci-fi novel. I know, it sounds incredibly strange, but bear with me. Penny Parks is your average geek. She's into all sorts of bands, and is a scientist at heart. Her ambition is to finish her project, The Jump Reader, and complete her goal of creating a teleportation device. Boy, is she surprised when she figures out that her device not only takes her through space, but also through time. Her machine just so happens to take her back in time, and runs her straight into The Fab Four. I took inspiration from the tv show Sliders and other space/time travel novels and movies. Holly DuPont spent the majority of her life wondering what things would be like if John Lennon had not died on that fateful night in December of 1980. As an adult working for the CIA, she suddenly finds herself involved in a secret project in which her lifelong wonderings become plausible. Should Holly risk her career, and more importantly her life, to travel back in time and prevent John's death? With the help of her friend and co-worker, Holly jumps back through time, placing herself in key points of John and the Beatles' lives, with the ultimate goal of having John Lennon live to see December 9, 1980 and beyond. ******** Thank you for talking the time to read my story.
